Scenario

  • Our client, an NHS Trust, decided to take a new approach to organisational development.  They scheduled a development day, which we facilitated.

Actions

  • Our event balanced theoretical and conceptual inputs with practical activities; presentations and group exercises.
  • We looked at organisational development, overall and specific to our client; action planning; becoming a business partner; and influence, including a developmental self-diagnostic.
  • The event was participative and engaging, and met our client’s high expectations.

Outcome

  • We informed the HR department about the new draft OD strategy and advised them on how to implement the changes, pinpointing collective and individual requirements and enhancing the capability of those in charge of delivery.
  • The event added value in itself, but also reinforced the existing HR leadership strategy and ongoing OD work.
