Full HR Outsource
Scenario
- Our client wanted to improve their HR service: 100 HR staff serving 2,500 employees. Ideal changes included upgrading technology, strengthening HR processes and reducing costs.
- Their tender specified a quick, flexible response from a partner offering world class expertise and culturally consistent thought-leadership.
Actions
- We agreed the commercial structure, a detailed scope of services and a seven year contract. A retained in-house team oversaw the contract, with a further team transferred over.
- It was a win-win partnership agenda, with regular communication and an onus on us to deliver value above achieving contractual Service Level Agreements.
Outcome
- A HR service centre controlled all outside suppliers and provided a full range of requirements: recruitment; assessment; training; development; reward; employee relations advice; and HR administration.
- The HR Business Partner interacted with executive directors and attended monthly commercial meetings with senior directors. This was crucial.
- Having earned our client’s trust by navigating the independent HR benchmarking and contract break clause, the CEO extended our scope to include HR strategy and projects: acquisitions, restructures and OD.
